Federal funding agencies visited Pagosa Springs on July 29, and the USDA presented a ceremonial $1 million check for the new building.
Build Pagosa was pleased to host representatives from multiple federal funding agencies, including the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Small Business Administration (SBA), and Economic Development Agency (EDA) on July 29th, 2026.
The visit started at the Build Pagosa office, with a presentation overviewing our organization and providing an update on our capital campaign for the Regional Workforce Center.
Afterwards, we did a site visit of the current CTE facilities at the high school. We finished up with touring the new site, and the USDA presented Build Pagosa with a ceremonial $1 million check for the new building. (These funds were initially allocated by Senator Hickenlooper.)
