Seven high school students learned to read plans, frame walls, solder joints and wire circuits, then went home with a stocked tool belt.
Build Pagosa was pleased to offer our first Boot Camp this summer! In partnership with Pueblo Community College and Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation we offered a four day “Under Construction Boot Camp” to high school students.
The boot camp had seven participants ranging from rising sophomores to rising seniors. Over the course of the week the students learned how to read architectural plans, frame walls, solder plumbing joints, install HVAC, and electrical wiring.
