Build Pagosa has been awarded a $2.7 Million  investment from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to help build the Regional Workforce Center.

‍

Build Pagosa was one of only twelve projects nationwide selected for this round of EDA funding, and the only project in Colorado to receive an award.

‍

This award means that high school students will be able to have increased access to hand-on training and career pathways. It means that adult learners will be able to pursue credentials without leaving town. It means that job seekers from all walks of life will be able to build their career here in Pagosa.

‍

We are proud to have received national recognition for our efforts, and the understanding that there is support for building real careers, close to home. Especially in our rural communities.

"We're proud to have received this funding, it's a vote of confidence in what our community has been building for years," said Will Ridlehoover, Executive Director of Build Pagosa. "Through this award, we're nearing the finish line of our capital campaign, and building real careers right here in Pagosa."
